Lachho also joins Motibai and her troupe and cleverly replaces the urn of milk with the urn containing lethal milk. Laxmibai seeks Gangadhar’s permission to leave for a while. Nelson, Jankibai and Lachho are happy about their plan getting implemented. Meanwhile, Laxmibai returns. Motibai ties an amulet across Damodar’s wrist to ward off all trouble. The baby’s purification ritual begins, and the priest asks Gangadhar to pour the milk from the urn into the drum. He then asks the king to immerse the baby in the milk and begin the purification process. Gangadhar does the needful. However, Jankibai, Lachho and Nelson are shocked to see the baby unscathed! A furious Laxmibai asks Jankibai whether she is surprised to see her baby alive. She tells Jankibai that she had intentionally asked the king to allow her to stay in the palace because she knew, Jankibai was plotting a conspiracy. Laxmibai then narrates how the lady who’d lost her baby had spoken about the milk. How her suspicions were further confirmed when Motibai informed her during the dance that only she and her troupe were to lift the milk urn but even the drummer had held it. Laxmibai had then been certain that it was Jankibai’s conspiracy. She tells Jankibai how Sunder and Motibai had replaced the urn containing the poisonous milk, and says that she still has the urn. An enraged Gangadhar punishes Jankibai by making her drink the same poisonous milk. Jankibai collapses and tells Gangadhar and Laxmibai that she wasn’t alone but had other accomplices too.
Gangadhar Rao seeks the blessings of Tatya Dixit, before going to his chamber to meet Laxmibai. A priest tells the Prime Minister that Tatya Dixit’s calculation regarding the auspicious time for the consummation of Gangadhar and Laxmibai’s marriage is wrong and could cause disaster. The Prime Minister confronts Tatya Dixit regarding the same. Moropant too consults the religious almanac and agrees that the time is inappropriate. Moropant gets worried and asks the Prime Minister to stop Gangadhar. Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho are delighted. Unaware of these happenings, Laxmibai shows reluctance in getting intimate to Gangadhar, claiming that she is not mentally prepared yet. Tatya Dixit feels offended at the priest’s allegation and decided to demand justice from the king. Gangadhar understands Laxmibai’s situation and supports her. Gangadhar hears the bell ringing outside the palace and decides to hear out the woe of the complainant. Laxmibai accompanies him to the court. Gangadhar is surprised to see Tatya Dixit demanding justice. The priest reveals that Tatya Dixit miscalculated because he had referred to an old almanac. Sakhubai instantly says that if Gangadhar had consummated the marriage, he would’ve died.
Kranti Guru, Tatya Guru and Samar kill Marshall. People shower milk as offerings on Kranti Guru as a mark of gratitude and in the process, Kranti Gurus veil slips. The people realise that Kranti Guru is none other than their queen. A furious Sleeman demands to know where Kranti Guru is, and every person around claims that he is Kranti Guru! Meanwhile, Kranti Guru has walked away, with the king following her. She drops her sword and the king recalls it belonging to his queen. Gangadhar sees Kranti Guru immersing Prachis ashes in the river. She then dips in the river, and is confronted by Gangadhar. Gangadhar is furious on learning the truth that his queen is Kranti Guru. Laxmibai tries to justify that she did everything only for the welfare of Jhansi. However, he demands to talk to his queen, not Kranti Guru.
